The 2015 Grammys ceremony will feature a special segment on musical collaborations, the Recording Academy and CBS announced today. In addition to Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, who seem to be performing together at every opportunity lately, Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani will take the stage.
Bennett and Gaga finally recorded their full album of jazz duets, Cheek to Cheek, which was released last year. Levine and Stefani are both The Voice coaches and Stefani appeared on Maroon 5’s “My Heart is Open.”
Annie Lennox will perform with “Take Me To Church” singer Hozier. The final pairing will feature Jessie J and Tom Jones.
“Throughout the years, the Grammy Awards has paired musical icons with new, upcoming artists to give fans remarkable performances that can only be seen on our stage,” Recording Academy President Neil Portnow said in a statement. “This year is no different, and once again promises to bring together unique musical worlds in innovative ways that blend genres and create new artistic boundaries.”
Other Grammys performers include Common and John Legend, Pharrell Williams, Sam Smith, Miranda Lambert, AC/DC, Eric Church, Ariana Grande, Madonna, Ed Sheeran and Usher.
LL Cool J will host for a fourth straight year.
The 57th annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8 on CBS.
