Budweiser brings back adorable puppy for new Super Bowl commercial (Video)

“Don’t fix what isn’t broken” is Budweiser’s mantra for this year’s Super Bowl commercial. The beer company is bringing back the adorable puppy that stole last year’s commercial from their iconic Clydesdale horses.

In the commercial, which was shown on the Today Show this morning, the puppy gets lost, leaving his owner to post flyers around his neighborhood. The sad puppy makes his way back to the stable, but is followed by a wolf. His horse buddies come in to save the day and the audience collectively goes “AWWW.”

“We're focused more maybe on the puppy than in past,” director Jake Scott told Today. “Telling the story through the puppy's eyes.”

Last year’s commercial featured the little Labrador pup making his way back home with the help of the Clydesdales to Passenger’s “Let Her Go.”

It’s safe to say that this Budweiser commercial will get a better response than GoDaddy’s. As previously reported, the commercial featured a lost puppy making his way home, only to find out that his owner sold him on a GoDaddy website. The SPCA slammed the ad and the company has decided not to air the commercial.
