Ansel Elgort to star with Chloë Grace Moretz in 'November Criminals'

Ansel Elgort will add another teen-lit adaptation to his resume. The The Fault in Our Stars actor will co-star with Chloë Grace Moretz in the thriller November Criminals.

Deadline reported that Elgort and Moretz will be directed by Hitchcock helmer Sacha Gervasi. Locke’s Steven Knight will write the script based on Sam Munson’s 2011 novel.

Neither young star is new when it comes to riveting, fast-paced action. Elgort starred in the dystopian adaptation Divergent and will return to its sequel, Insurgent. Moretz is no slouch either, having burst onto screens as the Hit-Girl in 2010’s Kick-Ass. More recently, though, she was seen in the The Equalizer. Moretz’ next film to hit theaters will be Olivier Assayas’ Clouds of Sils Maria.

According to Digital Spy, November Criminals follows two friends, played by Elgort and Moretz, as they descend into the underworld of Washington D.C. to uncover the truth about their friend’s murder. Naturally, the two fall in love along the way.

Catherine Keener will also star in the film.
