True Story stars James Franco and Jonah Hill in dramatic roles. After watching the trailer within the first 15 seconds, it is forgotten that Hill and Franco are used to doing comedic roles. They become these characters and show off a deeper and darker side to their acting careers.
The movie tells the real life story of Christian Longo, who is a captured murderer who went by the name Michael Kinkell for years, which is the same name as Hill's character. This real life story features Hill investigating why Longo is fascinated with him. The movie looks dark and seeing Hill and Franco in a new light has sparked interest.
True Story will be released in theaters April 10, 2015.
