Written with Harry Nilsson, “Old Dirt Road” is one of the centerpieces of my favorite Lennon album, 1974’s Walls and Bridges. It has this majestic, widescreen sound (if that makes sense). His vocal on the track is excellent, as is the guitar work and featured incredibly visual lyrics.
