Sylvester Stallone may have revealed big plot points for 'Rocky' spin-off 'Creed'

Sylvester Stallone is currently working on a new film in the Rocky franchise, although his iconic boxer isn’t the focal point. Instead, Creed is about rival Apollo Creed’s grandson and the script has just been finished. While we can probably figure out the plot anyway, Stallone may have revealed a bit too much in a new tweet.

Stallone tweeted a picture Creed’s script, with knives stuck in a table and Rocky and Rambo figures in the background. The script page appears to show one of Creed’s final scenes.

Slash Film transcribed the script page as best they could. Adonis Creed, Apollo’s son, wins a boxing match and later, Rocky finds out he has cancer. That element wasn’t known until now.

The rest of the film is expected to chronicle Rocky training Adonis, even though his grandfather was his bitter rival.

Creed stars Michael B. Jordan as Adonis and will be directed by Fruitvale Station’s Ryan Coogler. Tessa Thompson (Selma) will also star in the film.

There’s no set release date for Creed, but it should be out sometime in 2016.
