'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Millennium Falcon close-up revealed by Fortune

While we got a great look at the Millennium Falcon in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser, new images of the iconic ship are featured in the new issue or Fortune magazine.

The magazine shared an image of the full-size Falcon that was built at Pinewood Studios in London, with Disney CEO Bob Iger added to the picture. For its cover, Iger is seen with a wider image of the full Falcon.

While the shape of the Falcon (which is a modified YT-1300 freighter, as Star Wars fans know) is the same, the big difference is the ship’s radar dish. While it was round in the original trilogy, it will be a rectangle in the new film. Considering Han Solo is always fiddling with it, it makes perfect sense that he and Chewbacca would make some changes in 30 years.

The Force Awakens will not be released until Dec. 18, 2015, but Disney and Lucasfilm have been revealing a few more bits of information since the 88-second trailer broke the Internet on Black Friday. A few weeks ago, Entertainment Weekly revealed the names of major characters seen in the teaser.

The new film is being directed by J.J. Abrams.
