We’ve seen many trends come and go, but this one is by far one of the wackiest. Women are actually growing out and dying their armpit hair in various colors.
Long gone are the days are being shocked by people dying their hair blue or pink, now dying your armpit hair blue or pink has replaced that.
New York Post reports the trend is taking social media by storm. Supporters of dying your armpits are now referring to it as the Free Your Pits Movement.
Instagram and Twitter pages have even been created in its honor.
There are also people who don’t understand or, or they’re downright against it, such as a Twitter user named @GOPMommy.
It’s tough to tell if this trend will stick or burn out, but it’s safe to say there’s a huge divide on it as of now – those who are embracing it and now afraid to show it off and those who are just completely turned off by it.
