Lindsay Lohan has revealed her plans to stay in London after her play Speed-the-Plow wraps up, saying she’s been able to grow up there away from the spotlight in Los Angeles.
The Mean Girls star also talked about her desire to continue working on stage.
She told The Guardian, "The way I see it, the longer I live here the less of a choice you will all have not to hire me for plays.”
Lohan compared the city to Los Angeles and New York, two cities the actress notoriously struggled in, saying she’s able to go out and do normal things without being bothered.

“I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else,” she said. “I haven't heard myself mentioned on TV since I have been here. That has been really weird for me, and great."
Clearly the structured life that comes with being in a play has helped her, as she’s been out of trouble for the first time in years.
She said she was sick one night, but determined to follow through with the performance regardless.
“One time I was sick with a bug, I had been vomiting all day, but no way was I going to miss a show,” she said. “I was sitting there beforehand seeing spots in front of my eyes. I had a plan: if I felt sick on stage I was going to faint, play dead, pretend it was part of the script. Didn’t happen fortunately.”
