Former supermodel Janice Dickinson is the most high profile woman to accuse comedian Bill Cosby of rape. While she initially came forward to Entertainment Tonight last month, Dickinson sat down for another interview, this time with CNN, and broke down in tears while discussing the incident.
Dickinson has claimed that she was drugged and raped by Cosby in Lake Tahoe in 1982, after meeting him in the hopes of getting a part on The Cosby Show. She claims that the incident was not in her 2002 memoir because Cosby’s attorneys had pressured her publisher into deleting it. Later, she told the Daily Mail that she was hurt by Cosby’s attorney Martin Singer’s attempts to discredit her.
She spoke with CNN on Monday, where she made it clear that her encounter with Cosby still weighs heavily on her. As the Daily News notes, Dickinson called Cosby a “monster.”
“There was a lot pain downstairs,” Dickinson said as she recalled waking up after her encounter with Cosby. “There was semen all over me and my pajama bottoms were off and my top was open. At that point fight or flight, I packed up and got the hell out of there.”
She said she had “trusted” Cosby, which is why she took a pill from him after she complained of stomach cramps. But she blacked out after Cosby mounted her.
“I would like Cosby to come out and at least acknowledge that he is a pig, that he is a monster and that he raped me,” Dickinson said, just before she began crying.
In other Cosby news, People confirms that he has resigned from Temple University’s board of trustees. UMass Amherst also cut ties with Cosby.
