Floyd Mayweather sat down with police officers on Wednesday and openly talked about witnessing the murder-suicide of his good friend Earl Hayes and his wife, Vh1 star Stephanie Moseley.
He told cops that Hayes shot the Hit the Floor star in the bathroom then came back to the phone call, where Mayweather pleaded with him not to kill himself.
Sources told TMZ the boxing champ admitted they had a conversation about Moseley allegedly cheating on him before he shot her.
It’s been rumored that Mayweather riled up Hayes before he killed his wife, calling him weak for staying with her despite her alleged infidelity with rapper Trey Songz.
A SWAT team found the bodies of Hayes, 34, and Moseley, 30, at their Los Angeles home earlier this week.
Mayweather's interview with detectives lasted two hours.
Following this tragic incident, one-time rival 50 Cent has shown support for Mayweather. He wrote in an Instagram post, hinting he threatened suicide, "RIP Hayes, @floydmayweather you are my little brother. All can think about is what you said to me up stairs. Don't you ever do nothing to your self no matter what champ. We can fall out and fight or what ever,but I don't want to see you go out like that. #SMSAUDIO #POWER #FRIGO."
