Even though it’s been six days since the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed teaser trailer hit the web, it’s still the biggest topic in the entertainment world. Since its release, two big parts of it have been confirmed.
First up, we now know that the narrator for teaser is motion-capture extraordinaire Andy Serkis. According to Empire, he confirmed that himself in an interview with Absolute Radio. It was also confirmed on Good Morning America Monday morning.
Also during GMA, they did confirm a neat easter egg at the very end. As Uproxx points out, the trailer does end with the sound of a lightsaber turning on. That noise is actually the first lightsaber hum we ever heard, when Luke Skywalker turns on his father’s lightsaber in A New Hope. There are rumors that this lightsaber, which Luke lost on Cloud City in The Empire Strikes Back, could play a part in The Force Awakens.
Another rumor that surfaced just over the weekend comes from Jedi News suggests that Serkis actually has two roles in The Force Awakens. Of course, that’s just a rumor and unconfirmed.
The Force Awakens opens on Dec. 18, 2015.
