6. Bringing Home Prince George – July 23, 2013
Perhaps the only event more exciting than a wedding is the birth of a child. Thus, newspapers, magazines, websites and people were abuzz when William and Kate announced that she was pregnant. After the royal family and fans waited for nine months, Prince George Alexander Luis of Cambridge was born on July 22, 2013. He weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces, as reported by The Mirror. The photographs taken the next day when the parents brought their son and heir home capture their exhausted pride and joy.
