7. Kate’s reaction
I have enjoyed Jennifer Love Hewitt on this show so far and I loved her character’s reaction to the media’s involvement in the storyline. At one point, the media draws the unsub’s attention to them and leads him to shoot a hostage when the agents were trying to talk him down. After pushing his weapon away, Kate gets up and says “What the hell were you thinking?” to the reporters as she walks away off screen. The scene cuts to commercial after this and I kind of wished we had seen that conversation.
