Kyle Richards’ daughter, Alexia Umansky, was hospitalized after being attacked by her aunt Kim Richards’ pit bull on Saturday at her Los Angeles area home.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s daughter, 18, was rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital after she was bit by Kim’s dog, who’s featured on the show, Kingsley.
TMZ reports no one called the Dept. of Animal Control because Kim wanted to keep everything “private.”
Alexia has had two surgeries so far after she was bit several times, the worst being on her right thumb. Kingsley bit all the way through to her bone.
There’s no word if the reality star sisters are on speaking terms after the incident, but Kyle did take to social media to show photos of the family in the hospital.
“Slumber party at Cedars Sinai Hospital,” she first wrote, adding in a second post, “When life gives you lemons ....make lemonade.”
She then gave a small explanation about the situation but never revealed it was her sister’s dog who attacked her daughter . “Regarding Alexia : She was attacked by a dog and has to have surgery. As always , she is trying to make the best out of a bad situation .Thank you for your thoughts & well wishes,” she wrote.
