It’s what Girls fans have all been waiting for – the trailer for Season 4 of the hit HBO show has been released just a day after the network announced it would be returning on Jan. 11.
The trailer shows Hannah (Lena Dunham) taking up the opportunity to go to Iowa for the Writers Workshop, where she’s actually leading a productive life and thriving in her new environment away from New York. She’s proud of herself for making the right decision for once – she’s even eating grapes as a snack!
Her relationship with Adam (Adam Driver) seems to be continuing on despite the long distance and Jessa’s clear apprehension about it. Marnie is still seeing Desi, despite the fact that he has a girlfriend and Shoshanna is realizing the “real world” is not all it’s cracked up to be.
“I just don’t understand why nobody tells you how bad it’s going to be in the real world,” she tells Marnie, to which she replied, “Yeah, they do. It’s pretty much all they tell you.”
HBO announced the premiere dates for its Sunday line-up on Thursday, including dates for Looking and Togetherness.
The full trailer follows the teaser released in August, showing Hannah riding a bike and crashing.
