6. A Perfect Murder
Gwyneth Paltrow and Viggo Mortensen star as Emily Taylor and David Shaw. Emily is an heiress in a loveless marriage to Steven Taylor (Michael Douglas), with plans to leave her husband for David, a painter she is having an affair with. Steven is a hedge fund manager who is losing money and also knows about his wife’s infidelity, so he plans to have her killed to inherit her fortune. This is a rough remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s Dial M for Murder.
