“Gallows Pole” is among the many standout tracks on LZ III, an album with a more acoustic sound than LZ I or LZ II. Page’s frantic guitar playing keeps up with Bonham’s marching drums and then the electric guitar in the end completes the track. Jones plays the mandolin.
