Apollo Nida, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks’ husband, has started his 8-year prison sentence on Wednesday.
The couple’s marriage has been rocky since he was sentenced, with Nida telling an Atlanta radio station he “doubts” their marriage will last through his sentence. They’ve been married since 2009.
“I mean, my wife didn’t even f—king show up for my sentencing. I’m still salty about that,” he told Atlanta’s B100, Us Weekly reports.
Instead of spending time with his wife and two children before he reported to jail, sources say he’s been on a nightclub banger.
TMZ reports Nida has put drinking and going out to stripclubs before his family, which has left his marriage in ruins. Nida and Parks have reportedly not spoken in the week leading up to him starting his sentence and sources say she feared their fights would turn physical before that.
As we previously reported, Parks won’t appear on the Bravo show next season.
