8. Luke Skywalker
Star Wars: A New Hope was released back in 1977 and has changed the sci-fi world ever since. The films followed Luke Skywalker as he learned about the Force and his personal destiny. Star Wars has become more than a movie series, it has become a way of life for some fans. Skywalker is a huge fan favorite in the sci-fi community. The three original characters, Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo will be reunited on the big screen in Episode VII.
