2. Guardians of the Galaxy
This summer Marvel comics and Walt Disney Pictures have teamed up to deliver Guardians of the Galaxy to the big screen. Actor Chris Pratt plays the lead hero as Peter Quill the Star Lord, along with Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Racoon. This unlikely group of friends team together to battle Ronan, played by Lee Pace, for a mysterious orb that dictates the future of the entire galaxy.
Marvel fans have been waiting for the film since X-Men: Days of Future Past hit theaters on Memorial Day weekend. Now fans can watch as director James Gunn uses his talents to make the Marvel comic about a band of intergalactic misfits come to life.
