10. 22 Jump Street
22 Jump Street is the sequel to Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum’s 2012 hit 21 Jump Street. The 2012 film exceeded critic’s expectations leading to the duos second chance to bring their action-comedy film to the big screen.
Under the leadership of their captain (Ice Cube), officers Schmidt (Hill) and Jenko (Tatum) go undercover as college students to solve a case. The movie was released Jun. 13 and has received a 4 ½ out of 5 star rating according to [Fandango.com]. The film grossed close to $186 mil while in theaters and in a few months 22 Jump Street will be available on DVD and blu-ray by November of 2014.

9. The Purge: Anarchy
Summer 2014 appears to be the season of the sequel as director James DeMonaco brings the action-thriller The Purge: Anarchy to theaters to shock and frighten audiences all over again. The film follows five individuals on the infamous night of the annual purge, where all illegal activity has been made legal for 12 hours.
Although some viewers hoped DeMonaco would follow the story from the original, many audience members were pleasantly surprised that the director chose to follow a completely new story line. This time around, the film captures the string of unfortunate events that takes place when left stranded outside the night of the purge. The film has been released, however, viewers are still showing up to the theater, partly scared and slightly intrigued by this film about complete anarchy.
