5. Bodyboarder fights off tiger shark
In Hawaii, surfer Mike Coots has set out to catch some waves, but unfortunately encounters a tiger shark lurking in the waters. The shark bites Coots, but he fights the creature off by punching it square in the nose. The shark retreats and Coots makes it ashore to be treated for his very serious injuries. The reason he did not become the shark’s lunch though is because he used a technique that evidently works.
