7) Colt McCoy, Texas
Colt McCoy was a thorn in the side for Big 12 opponents for four years, as he earned the starting role as a redshirt freshman in 2006 and kept it until 2009. McCoy had to fill the shoes of Vince Young his freshman year, and he did so admirably, leading the Longhorns to 10 wins his first year as single caller. Texas would go on to have a 45-8 record during McCoy's four years in Austin, which included a trip to a BCS Championship Game. McCoy also had ridiculous production, finishing his career with 132 total touchdowns.
