1) Tim Tebow, Florida
It is unfortunate that some people will best remember Tim Tebow for his roller coaster ride of an NFL career. However, before being traded by the Broncos shortly after winning a playoff game, Tebow terrorized the SEC for four years. The dual-threat quarterback helped the Gators win a National Championship as freshman, coming in for starter Chris Leak in short yardage situations. Tebow would go on to win the Heisman Trophy as a sophomore, as he ran and threw for an incredible 55 touchdowns. Tebow would then lead Florida to their second National Championship in three years as a junior. His college career would end with a 51-24 Sugar Bowl victory over the University of Cincinnati. Of course, Tebow was named the game’s Most Valuable Player. Tebow finished his career with 145 touchdowns, as the Gators had a 48-7 record during his four years in Gainesville.
