Renowned for his role as an actor and a stand-up comedian, William’s death is one of 2014’s most tragic losses. According to preliminary autopsy results, Williams passed away in California due to asphyxia due to hanging himself.
Williams was one of the most influential celebrities of our generation and will be greatly remembered for his appearances/voices in the films Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Awakenings, The Fisher King , Good Will Hunting, Hook, Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, The Birdcage, Bicentennial Man, Night at the Museum and Happy Feet. Williams is survived by 3 children and his fiancee Susan Schneider.
