9. Jon and Dan Heder
Jon Heder has appeared in a number of popular films - including Benchwarmers, School for Scoundrels, Blades of Glory, Mama’s Boy, and When in Rome - and is most recognized for his role as the title character in the classic comedy film, Napoleon Dynamite, but did you know he has a twin brother?
Heder’s brother, Dan, is also in the entertainment industry. However, instead of being in front of the camera, he prefers to be involved with what goes on behind the scenes! He has also been known to mess with fans that confuse him with his brother, refusing to give said fans an autograph when they approach him.
“If you meet me on the street and I say, ‘No, it’s not him,’ it’s probably [Dan],” the Napoleon Dynamite star dished to SF Gate. “People ask, ‘Can I get your autograph?’ And they’ll ask him and he’ll say no and it makes me look like a jerk.”
He later revealed that many fans don’t believe him when they admit to being a twin, revealing fans “think it’s the worst excuse.” If you happen to see a Napoleon Dynamite look-alike on the street, be sure to remember it might be his twin!
