The actor’s twin, Michael, has openly admitted to how much he cherishes the support from Ashton, who has spoke at several events to raise awareness for the health condition.
"The doctors told me I needed a heart transplant or only had three to four weeks to live. Then after that it came down to 48 hours to go," Michael told Us Magazine. “I remember…seeing my whole family, including Ashton, in the bed and I knew I was going to be okay."
