Kirstie Alley is responding to her former Dancing with the Stars partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s recent public comments on their falling out and she seems furious.
Chmerkovskiy made the comments last week while on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, blaming the end of their friendship on her religion, Scientology.
Since he’s been linked to Jennifer Lopez, who is Leah Remini’s best friend, he’s been associated with the ex-Scientologist.
He told Cohen of Alley, “We had a great relationship … but I got a message now that I am associating with other people that she can’t be associated with, I am no longer to be spoken with, and sorry, but it is what it is.”
He also called Scientology “science fiction,” but made sure to add at the end of his comments, “I think the world of her, and I wish her the best.”
Alley proved that wasn’t enough for her, comparing the comments to “a—rape.”
“Dear Sir..after you have a-- raped me there is really no reason to include "I wish you the best".. It's rhetorical,” she tweeted on Aug. 1.
