French Montana is clearing up his comments about capitalizing on girlfriend Khloe Kardashian’s fame, even though she did clear it up herself on Twitter.
In an interview with Billboard that came out on Friday, he said of dating the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and her fame, "I want to capitalize on it. I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on."
It's amusing to me that Y'all think I don't see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don't care.

However, in an interview with Access Hollywood, the “Don’t Panic” rapper said the comments were taken out of context.
"I was so mad about that,” he said. “If I'm with somebody, I'm not with them for that reason."
The two were first pictured together back in April, and this is the first relationship she’s had since filing for divorce from her husband Lamar Odom. On Sunday’s episode of her family’s E! reality show, she introduced him to her sister Kim Kardashian.
"I hate being on camera,” he explained. “Sometimes you're not ready for it and it's too much pressure, but I love it. But I hate how it happened… all the commotion."
He also had kind words for Kardashian, who appeared in his music video for “Don’t Panic,” saying she “supports” him no matter what and “when it comes to her career, I don't think about it. If she needs me to do something, I do it."
