9. The King of Comedy, 1982
IMDB Rating: 7.8
Like most of Scorsese’s films the main character is power hungry but unlike most others this main character has a small time goal: becoming a stand-up comic. With that said, he has no problem taking matters into his own hands when he needs to get nasty. Scorsese does a good job with camera angles on small shots that would go unnoticed by most but have a lot of meaning to some.
This film is a dark comedy, but it's almost a bright side compared to most of his other films.
