5. God (Season 1, Episode 11)
"God" follows a young Louie in Catholic school, and is all about the role fear plays in instilling religion and faith in young children. If nothing else, this episode makes the list for the performance of Tom Noonan as a man brought in to teach the students the gruesome details of Christ's crucifixion, and, literally, put the fear of God into them.
