Top 10 'Louie' Episodes (So Far)

10. Poker/Divorce (Season 1, Episode 2)

One of the great features of Louie that separates it from most other shows is that it's not committed to any format. It can be any genre it wants to be, has no set cast of characters, and a story can cover anywhere from half an episode to a several episode arc. "Poker/Divorce" starts with a poker game featuring some raunchy, testosterone driven conversation that paints the stereotypical portrait of a middle-aged men's get-together to the point it's comical in itself. Just when you think you know what the segment is about, it blindsides you with some heartfelt perspective on homophobia and language from comedian Rick Crom. The second segment relays a common modern-day story of a recently divorced Louie rekindling an old flame from his childhood through Facebook with the help of some flashbacks.
