2. Don’t Look Now

Pretty Little Liars wasn’t the first to coin the use of the “red coat” either, apparently. The red coat has previously appeared in the film, Don’t Look Now, a story that follows a father who chases after a girl in a red coat, believing it to be his dead daughter. The identity of “Red Coat” in PLL was one of the series’ biggest mysteries. In this clip, Spencer follows Red Coat when she spots her at Rosewood High, but the discovery is not exactly what she expected. Various PLL characters have worn the red coat throughout the series including, Ali/Vivian, Aria, and CeCe Drake.
