'Game of Thrones' most gruesome and horrifying deaths

6. Joffrey Baratheon

No one was upset when Joffrey died. No One. Even the celebrities were ready to party following his death. The only thing you can be upset about is that he is only at #6 on this list.

Joffrey Baratheon is a terrible human being that there is not enough time to go over his past and all the reasons why he has earned himself a spot on this list. But some highlights would be forcing his former fiancé Sansa Stark to watch her fathers beheading after she pleaded with him for mercy, also having Sansa stare at her fathers spiked head and her old nurse maid. There is also shooting Ros, one of the girls who works in the entertainment house, in season three and his disgusting behavior towards his family. Not to mention how he had Sansa’s dire wolf, Lady, killed when it had done nothing wrong. Oh and that other time where Joffrey was a terrible King and awful human being.

Despite being the King for longer than a season, it was not until season 4 that Joffrey got married to Margaery Tyrell (the girl who lost her first husband to the demon shadow). The couple was engaged for a season and it was comforting that Margaery was not as easily fooled, as Sansa was when it came to Joffrey’s attitude. While Margaery was not thrilled at the prospect at being married to a monster, she looked at it as an opportunity to rule and maybe make things a little better in Kings Landing.

But poor Margaery never got that chance as at their wedding reception, after a large tiff (on display naturally, because Joffrey only does things on display like the drama queen he is), with his Uncle Tyrion, Joffrey helps himself to a glass of wine which is, surprise, poisoned! At first it appeared he was merely coughing but after a few moments the crowd caught on that he was choking. And no one moved to save the King!

Cersei ran to her son and so did Jaime because, hey it is his kid too but don’t tell anyone that, as they cradle him as he dies. Cersei mourns and screams over the death of her son. Joffrey gets the whooping #6 because the King was dying, surrounded by guards and others, and no one cared but his mother and father. Plus Joffrey never knew who his real father was. And then there is the fact he died on his wedding day. Also Margaery lost her second husband and her opportunity to rule once more. All in all, despite Joffrey’s terrible behavior – it just all sounds horrible. And yes, he is #6 because like I said, no one cared that he died.
