Almost always the second best team in Germany, Borussia Dortmund has crawled out of Bayern Munich’s shadow in recent years. Dortmund won back-to-back Budesliga titles in 2011 and 2012 to go along with a trip to the Champions League Final in 2013. In that 2013 final, Dortmund would, of course, run into their archrivals, Bayern Munich, who used a late goal from Arjen Robben to deny Dortmund what would have been their greatest victory. Robert Lewandowski goal scoring ability has helped make Dortmund a dangerous team for years so, naturally, Bayern Munich signed him for the 2014 season.
