Lyon makes this list off the strength of being French Champions four times over the last 10 years, though they have not won the league since 2008. Lyon has also been France’s most successful team in European competition, reaching the quarterfinals of the Champions League in 2005 and 2006, and making it all the way to the semifinals in 2010. Lyon barely beat out Juventus and fellow French side Paris Saint-Germain for the tenth and final spot on the list.
