Born on June 1, 1937 from Memphis Tennessee, Freeman is a renowned actor, director and a narrator for documentaries. Freeman smokes cannabis regularly and he openly admits that he’ll never quit smoking. In an interview with The Guardian, he mentioned “never give up the ganja” describing it as “God’s own weed.”
Freeman received academy awards for his performance in many movies such as Street Smart, Driving Miss Daisy, The Shawshank Redemption and Invictus. Along with winning the Best Supporting Actor for the film Million Dollar Baby, Freeman also won a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
