8. Terry Bellefleur - True Blood
Although there have been countless deaths in the history of True Blood, sadly including Godric, Jesus, and Luna, the death of Terry Bellefleur was possibly one of the most shocking deaths on the show. Terry, who suffered Post Traumatic Stress after events that occurred during his deployment in Iraq, could no longer deal with the guilt and asked a fellow veteran to kill him. Although Holly and Arlene manage to get a vampire to glamour Terry, erasing the visions that haunted him, they realize too late that they did not glamour the man he hired to kill him and thus Terry was shot and killed outside of Merlotte's. The following funeral was even harder to deal with after Sookie’s speech and it is definitely a tragedy that we won’t soon forget.
