While this character-driven drama falls apart in its final moments due to any real lack of resolution, directors Nana Ekvtimishvili, Simon Groß provide a powerfully subdued film that is constantly inviting, despite its masterful restraints.
Guided by some incredible camera work and some competently focused direction, this film is able to rise about its simple convicts to make one memorably bleak look at some rather fragile characters.
