Gwyneth Paltrow is raising eyebrows once again, this time for endorsing the work of Japanese doctor Masuru Emoto, specifically his theory about water having feelings.
The Iron Man star, 41, who recently announced a separation from her husband Chris Martin, posted to her blog Goop and wrote she’s “fascinated” by this widely contested theory.
“I am fascinated by the growing science behind the energy of consciousness and its effects on matter. I have long had Dr. Emoto's coffee table book on how negativity changes the structure of water, how the molecules behave differently depending on the words or music being expressed around it,” she wrote.
Paltrow recently sparked controversy with her remarks on comparing negative comments about her on the internet to being in war.
Cindy McCain, in particular, expressed her opinion on her comparison, calling her a “joke.”
“It's almost like how, in war, you go through this bloody, dehumanizing thing, and then something is defined out of it. My hope is, as we get out of it, we'll reach the next level of conscience,” Paltrow said in an interview with Re/Code.
