New details are emerging about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding day in Florence, Italy. West was able to surprise his bride by bringing in Andre Bocelli to sing "Ave Maria" as she walked down the aisle.
As Kris Jenner explained during an appearance on Today Show on Monday morning, Kardashian thought she was walking down the aisle to a recording of the song so she was shocked to see Bocelli standing there serenading her.
According to E! News, who has the exclusive photo of the moment Kardashian realized the song wasn’t just a recording, Bocelli sang other songs like "Con te partirò.”
As we previously reported, West also got Lana Del Rey to perform during the pre-festivities in Paris, France. Del Rey’s song “Young and Beautiful” is one of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s favorites.
After honeymooning in Ireland and Prague, Kardashian took to Twitter to say she had the “best” time with her new husband but missed their daughter, 11-month-old North West.
“Had the best most relaxing romantic honeymoon in Ireland & Prague! Missed my baby girl so much! Excited to be home to squeeze her so tight!” she wrote.
