6. Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, 2004
Plot: Katey (Garai) is an American girl living in Cuba. She falls in love with a local man (Luna) and they dance together in Cuba. After Castro takes over again, Katey’s parents want to move back to the U.S. Katey must choose between her love or her family.
Cast: Romola Garai, Diego Luna, Sela Ward, John Slattery
Why it was the worst: This is the exact same movie as the original except instead of New York, it is Cuba. While the first Dirty Dancing was great, the remake seems like a cheap knockoff that was unnecessary.
