This song is obviously about cheating, but growing up, kids may not have realized exactly what the lyrics were saying. I remember a camping trip some years ago where a girl younger than 10 argued with me that the lyrics were ‘banging on the bathroom door.’ I obviously didn’t have the heart to correct her.
