4. Running away from home is perfectly safe
Rapunzel and Mulan are two princesses that run away from home because they don’t like the way they are being treated or believe that they need to save their town. While these two princesses end up saving people and are better off in the end, this act of rebellion is not a good message to young kids because it demonstrates that running away is safe and that if they do happen to run into danger, nothing bad will come of it save a few minor wounds. The movies don’t show the dangers of children running away from home, such as creepy kidnappers.
