3. The Blind Side
Plot: After seeing a homeless boy on a playground, a woman takes him in. She realizes that he could be great at football and helps him work toward a college career. She even gets him a bed, clothes and a tutor. She becomes a mother to him and gives the boy a family that he would have never had.

Why your mom might love it: Sometimes you don’t need to be blood related to become someone’s mom. It is heartwarming to see a homeless boy transform into being loved by a family that loves him too.
