9. Carrie Prejean
While she isn’t an actor or singer, Carrie Prejean made a name for herself a short time before her sex tape was released. Carrie competed in Miss USA 2009 and placed first runner-up. She caused controversy when judge Perez Hilton asked her about same-sex marriage and she responded in disagreement. Allegedly, her answer is what caused her to get first runner-up instead of winning the pageant.
After the outrage from the pageant, Prejean spoke out for the anti-same sex marriage movement. At the prime of her outrage, a sex tape was released. It led to her being fired from her job.
