9. Braceface
There was nothing like growing up in 2001 and feeling empathetic toward Sharon Spitz. This blonde middle schooler is what all of us girls felt when we were 13, and to make it even better, Alicia Silverstone narrated and produced the television cartoon. Originally aired on Disney Channel and ABC Family, Braceface unfortunately only lasted three seasons but definitely made an impact on girls with braces.
