8. “Head” Dirty Mind
In 1980 Prince released his third album Dirty Mind, which of course it was and still is, with the song “Head” being a prime example. With obvious sexually driven lyrics, “Head” is also a straight-up good-time funky song backed by synthesizers and drum machines, giving one of many examples of Prince being ahead of the times.
