5. Zachary Quinto
Quinto is known for staring in Heroes and the Star Trek movies. He came out in October 2011 in an interview with New York Magazine. He told them, “as a gay man…there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed,” regarding gay rights. He was moved to publicly come out after the suicide of Jamey Rodemeyer, a teenager who committed suicide after being harassed at school for being gay.
